Our Story

Hello, thank you for stopping by to check out the work that my beautiful wife and I started. This all began with a little boy who was curious about a snake he found in the yard. After learning about the worm snake he had found, the little boy began asking his parents to read him animal books until he was old enough to read on his own. Every year for birthdays and Christmas he would ask for more and more animal books.

Over time I gained many experiences through professional relationships and opportunities to work with some of the most dangerous animals on the planet. I learned how to work with venomous snakes from a young age. By high school I could see the need for someone to advocate for these beautiful, misunderstood animals. I began teaching friends and family how to safely interact with venomous snakes and started speaking publicly about the wonders of reptiles and amphibians.

After multiple TV appearances, many school workshops and presentations, countless nature walks, presentations across the east coast, nearly 100 privately trained students, and master naturalist classes, we are still going strong. Reptile Adventures LLC is a business built on passion — to inspire passion, and to nurture that passion through safe practices.

My wife, Kayleigh Eargle, may not have as long a history with reptiles, but she has grown quickly in the time we have known each other. She is my rock and helps to keep the business running smoothly; she is also an essential member of our team when it’s time to care for our animals.
